Santa Claus Conquers the Martians Comic Book & Record

In 1964, the classic b-movie "Santa Claus Conquers the Martians" was released, and the world has never been the same. But did you know that there was also a comic book and record adaptation?

Produced by Dell as a Comic Book Storyteller companion piece to the 1964 children's film, this is a recording of the original Golden Record (with the instructions to flip over the record deleted). The record is narrated by Don Ocko with the voices of Ralph Bell, Ann Delugg, and Betty & Billy, with music by Milton Delugg. (Note: because this is taken from an old vinyl record, there is some hum, pops, and hiss on the audio).

You can also print out or download a copy of the comic book below so your kids can read along! It's formatted to print out on 8.5 x 11 inch paper, or to read along on your tablet.

And I've also thrown in an MP3 of the classic "Hooray for Santy Claus" song that we all know and...uh...love?

Enjoy the miracle of Santa Claus conquering the Martians with your family! The comic book is actually pretty nice, and the narration on the record is...well...see for yourself. Happy holidays from Alternate Histories!
