S.M.A.S.H. Squad and the Robot Menace

Highlight the growing problem of a robot menace with this 11 x 17 inch print humorously warning against a takeover my mechanical men!

This print is part of our S.M.A.S.H. Squad series, which highlights the Stop Monsters And Save Humanity Squad that started after World War II as a way for the government to combat monsters, whether they be man-made, otherworldly, or extraterrestrial.

Comes with this description:
Produced in 1948 in response to the growing public fear of a robot takeover, this would prove to be one of the SMASH Squad’s least successful programs. Certainly a number of robots and mechanical men and women have always been hell-bent on dominating and destroying their human overlords, but significant uprisings were dealt with quickly and painlessly. The idea of a society dominated by machines and computers, where electronic interfaces have replaced physical human contact, is as laughable today as it was in the 1940s.
