As the blues scene grew in Chicago in the 1940s and 50s, more and more monstrous and interstellar performers began to take the stage. Robo Dixon and the Bluesbots seen here were the undisputed headliners of this Chicago event, and records from the time show that they handily defeated The Man From Mars, although as much of the audience was eaten by the Living Dead Rhythm Revue, it may not have been a fair contest.
