In the craft and art fair trade, we get to meet many fine and upstanding artists whose work we enjoy and admire. This week, for our first "Buy Things From Our Friends" feature, we're proud to profile the excellent work of Chicagoan Laura Berger.
Her hand-painted work is whimsical, funny, serious, affirming, and beautiful. We own many reproductions and screenprints from our favorite artists, but one of the few originals we own is from Laura. She sells greeting cards, prints, and original pieces both on her site and at craft shows around the country.
