Alternate Histories x North Ave Candles Collaboration and Candle Make & Take

Join us for the launch of the Alternate Histories x North Ave Candles collaboration. We'll be debuting three monstrously great scents that we're excited to unleash on the burgh: Monster Breath, Alien Absinthe, and Pushing Up Daisies.
Plus you can make your own candle for just $28! North Ave Candles' mobile candle workshop will be on site for you to create your own truly one of a kind candle. Work with over 30 fragrance oil options to blend a custom scent. Then finish off your candle with a label featuring the art of Alternate Histories. You'll make a 9oz candle with 45 burn hours.
Please allow at least 90 minutes to make a candle. After selecting your label, creating your scent blend, and pouring your candle, it may take up to an hour for the candle to set enough to safely transport. While you wait, Greenhouse Co-Op at 557 Greenfield Ave (a three minute walk) welcomes to visit their selection of houseplants and delicious cider made in-house.!

Happy Hours are BACK, baby! On Saturday May 18 we're kicking things off with a big block party! We'll have:
• The triumphant return of La Palapa Mexican Food!
• The danceable return of DZ EZ Lou spinning 80s hits and more
• The delicious return of Coven Brewing with local beers & good vibes
• The neighborly return of the Greenfield Community Association
Plus new friends:
• Girls Rock Pittsburgh here to talk about their upcoming programs and do some music demos
• Olga Nova Studio with portraits on the spot
• Jules Droolz with fun stickers & cards
• POGOH Bikes here to talk about their new Greenfield bike stations
All events are 3-7pm, free, and family-friendly. Dogs welcome on a leash. Save the date!
