The Taos Pueblo of New Mexico

An 11 x 17 inch reproduction of an exquisite hand-colored photograph, complete with monster! Comes with this description:

The Pueblo people’s long oral history is rarely repeated or written down out of concerns of religious privacy. Yet linguists and archaeologists have pieced together substantial information about this vibrant culture, shown here at the Taos Pueblo in Northern New Mexico. Most stories center around Tawa, the creator, and his nephew Sotuknang. While descriptions of Sotuknang vary, some claim that the two-hundred foot tall creature known to stalk through Northern New Mexico is his living reincarnation. And while there is no evidence to support this theory, it is worth noting that the creature always avoided crushing the Taos Pueblo, while other cities such as Santa Fe had to be constantly rebuilt after monster attacks.
