The Great Ape atop the Cincinnati Union Terminal
The Great Ape atop the Cincinnati Union Terminal
$20.00
Who doesn't love art deco buildings and giant apes? Well now we've combined them, in the form of this lovely 11 x 17 inch digital print depicting a famous gorilla wreaking havoc atop the Cincinnati Union Terminal building.
Comes with this description: Was ever so much ruckus caused as when a gigantic ape, caught in a faraway land and exhibited in New York, broke lose and went on a rampage through this great land in the 1930s? Here in Cincinnati, the giant primate was drawn to the newly-built Union Terminal for reasons unknown. Some claimed it was because of the building’s resemblance of a mountain on Skull Island; others said that he was simply trying to catch a train.
