Alternate Histories Video: Attack of the VHS
Invading Earth from beyond the stars, Alternate Histories Video returns with Attack of the VHS! A month-long installation at Alternate Histories where the studio transforms into a video store selling vintage VHS Horror & Sci-Fi tapes (courtesy of @flippingrecords ), complete with posters, vintage ads & toys, vinyl soundtracks, Halloween candy, and even membership cards! We've got lots of fun events happening all month long:
• Join us for the Grand Opening on Saturday, October 4 when we’re thrilled to welcome The BookuBus into the space for a pop-up with their amazing collection of vintage horror paperbacks for sale!
• Or stop by on Friday, October 10 to celebrate Ed Wood's birthday with VHS screenings of his films PLAN 9 FROM OUTER SPACE, BRIDE OF THE MONSTER, and GLEN OR GLENDA from the Pink Angora Box Set
• Cyberia Video is popping up at the on Saturday, October 11 from 12-4pm with vintage TVs, VCRs, computers, and tons of other antiquated but still working technology, diligently repaired and restored. Thrill to the glory of old TV tubes and the gentle whirr of a VCR.
• Friday October 31 we're hosting a Greenfield Halloween party and a Special Undisclosed Location...stay tuned!
