In my other life as DJ MB and host of the In Bed by Ten dance party, I have the occasion to create lots of fun playlists, and wanted to host them all in one place. So here we are!
BOTTLEROCKET PROM: The 1960s

PLAN 9 PUNK
On Monday, May 12, we did the first screening of PLAN 9 PUNK, a screening of Ed Wood's masterpiece with the music removed and a DJ playing a new soundtrack featuring Southern California punk & garage rock. LOVE STINKS
On Friday, Feb 14 I DJ'd an all-vinyl set of punk & classic rock vinyl at Independent Brewing in Pittsburgh dedicated to the thesis that LOVE STINKS, surely an attitude we've all shared at some point. A few folks asked so here's the playlist from that night, with a few must-haves added that I simply didn't have access to on vinyl. Enjoy!
A VERY STRANGE PLACE
When I produced my latest album A STRANGE PLACE TO LIVE IN (a tribute to the life and word of Edward D. Wood Jr), there were a lot of songs I wanted to use and couldn't get the rights to. This is a kind of shadow history of that album, featuring songs I wanted to use...but couldn't!
