Philadelphia State House

This 11 x 17 inch print commemorates the only known attempted truce between mankind and monster. Comes with this description of a pivotal moment in Pennsylvanian and American history:

"April 27, 1848. The Philadelphia State-House was the site of a great experiment, the first of its kind on the Eastern seaboard. Daniel Sturgeon, the United States Senator from Uniontown, proposed a negotiation between duly elected representatives of mankind and the great and terrible monsters of the Philadelphia region. This attempt was greeting with great cheers and sloganeering, right up until the Manayunk Monster crushed the State House and everyone inside it, thus ending the negotiations."
